CASE-ing the Catty | CTC#480 | CASE an Embossing Project

Hello stamping friends. Thank you for joining me on my blog today. I hope that you've had a fantastic week and are having fabulous Sunday!

Today I'm participating in a blog hop for the CASE-ing the Catty Design Team, to kick off the new challenge for the week. If you come here from Andrea Saragent's blog welcome, if you've started here with me also welcome.

We are about CASE-ing the samples from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue with a different theme to CASE each week. To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit. This week we are CASE-ing an Embossing Project from the Stampin' Up! 2024 Annual Catalogue.

I was drawn to this gorgeous sample from the Annual catalogue that uses the super cute Sweet Peas Stamp set. I love the card design/layout and the use of the white embossing on the coloured cardstock as a background element on the card. I've used that embossing design on my card and added some extra embossing elements to really step it up.

I've used the Country Woods Suite (again) for my card today. I just keep being drawn to this suite time and time again. I don't think I've ever gotten so much use from one suite as I have like this one.  I've kept the same colour for my base layers as the original sample - Pool Party and then layered the card up from there.

I used the Eyelet Embossing Folder to emboss the base layer and then on my square piece used one of the floral images from the Country Flowers Stamp Set for some heat embossing. On the Perennial Postage die cut piece I scored/embossed some lines across the die cut to create a grid pattern.

I stamped the stool piece on the Country Woods DSP for that white washed wood look and then added the tea pot coloured with Stampin' Blends, leaves and some die cut flowers. I doubled up the flowers to give them more of a fuller look.

I finished the card off with some more flowers off to the side to keep with a similar design to the catalogue same and then added the Happy Birthday sentiment.

I hope that I've inspired you with my Embossed project and have encouraged you to use more embossing in your creations.

There are lots of AMAZING creations from the rest of the CASE-ing the Catty Crew so be sure to make your way around the whole hop to get inspiration from the CTC team.

Next up on the hop is the fabulous Peta Stephen with her embossed creation.

We would love to have you join us over at our Facebook group to share your creation CASE-ing a project from the 2024 - 2025 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue and join in this weeks challenge. You don't need to have a blog to join in!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!

  2. Another stunner Rochelle. I adore your range of embossed details - not only with an embossing folder, but also heat embossing and your own embossed grid. Your colour combo and the way you have used the Country Flowers bundles is wonderful. I so love the abundance of flowers. Gorgeous. xxx

  3. Absolutely gorgeous Rochelle. Just love all the beautiful details but my favourite is that scored postage die (one I will be CASEing for sure). 💗
I did have a giggle that both of us ended up CASEing the same card of ALL the samples in the catalogue 😂. Thanks for the inspiration. xx
